I do not make New Year’s resolutions – I switched to New-Months resolutions some years ago: each month a goal like going swimming for x times or so. But this year was so full of events that I did not stick to that and stopped after some months. However, I will start again and already know my resolution for next month.

No.

My uncle.

I made a resolution of having a resolution for each month, such as doing yoga, eating healthy, etc. and that worked out pretty fine for the first three months but then the year become too eventful. I will, however, start this monthly-resolution again in 2010.

TN gave birth to a son.

No. Luckily not. But there were way to many hospital stays in our families.

There are so many. The concerts. The vacation in Denmark. Easter and Christmas with our families. The nuchal scan which was impressive. Whereas the ultrasounds so far were a blurry black and white flicker, indicating a spot or something that looked like a turtle, this scan showed a human being with a backbone and ribs, a cranium with teeth, and most notably a heart.

Not deleting my half-written thesis?

Not finishing my thesis.
